Verses and sentiments from Ambrosius Förster's friends: Herman Hess (1611), J. Timaeus Silesius (1612), Samuel Praetorius (1613), and Holofernes Hillenius. Probably written in Wittemberg.
Liber Locorum Theologicorvm, dictated by Joanne Josepho Arce to Petrus Josephus a Barriga
This is a manuscript in ink of theological writings in Latin dictated in 1795 by Joanne Josepho Arce, master of sacred theology, to Petrus Josephus Barriga, theologian at the College (Seminary) of Saint Jerome in Arequipa, Peru. The volume is bound in vellum and there is a partly legible poem in Spanish on the front cover.

Miscellaneous unbound manuscripts removed from the William J. Griffith collection of printed Guatemalan source material. Contains some records of the University of San Carlos and the Protomedicato; the Guatemalan government; letters by Rafael Carrera; and some papers relating to the Rojas family. Although most of the manuscripts are Guatemalan in origin, some are Costa Rican or Honduran, and there is one document each from Peru, Cuba, San Salvador, Nicaragua, and Spain.

Titulus or funeral plaque of Claudia Thaliarchi. Inscribed with five lines of Latin text: "CLAVDIA·THALIARCI·L/GRAPTE/VIXIT·ANNOS·XVII/QUAE FUIT·DE·DOMO/L·VENVLEI[·]MONTANI." This can be translated as "Claudia, daughter of Thaliarchus, freedman [libertus], sculptor, lived 18 years, who is of the house of Lucius Venuleius Montanus."

Personal papers of Brian Priestman
Brian Priestman joined the University of Kansas faculty as artist in residence and conductor of the Symphony Orchestra in 1992; his final performance as conductor for KU was in 2002. This collection consists almost entirely of sheet music used by Priestman, as well as a 6 page section of typed notes of explanation on his edits to Lalande's Te Deum.

Marilyn Stokstad joined the Art History faculty at the University of Kansas in 1958 and led the department in several roles before earning emerita status as the Judith Harris Murphy Distinguished Professor of Art History. This collection of her papers includes notes, chapters, and proofs for the textbook Art History, family history and photographs, personal and professional correspondence, and reports and notes related to the University of Kansas.
